Social Media Is Geeking Out About ‘Hamilton’ Coming To Disney+ Tomorrow

We might not be able to see Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit Broadway musical on stage this year due to Coronavirus shutdowns, but it’ll arrive on our home televisions in under 24 hours. Hamilton was originally scheduled for a theatrical release in October 2021. However, Disney decided that we shouldn’t have to wait for it any longer.

Starting July 3rd, you can have the full Hamilton Broadway experience in your own home.

The “Hamilfilm” is not a traditional movie. Instead, it’s a filmed performance of Hamilton shot inside the famous Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York. Moreover, early reviews of the Disney+ film have been extremely positive.

Furthermore, Lin-Manuel Miranda will star as Alexander Hamilton, so we’ll definitely want to be in the room where it happens when the “Hamilfilm” drops on Disney+ this Friday. Miranda’s fellow Broadway cast members, including Leslie Odom, Jr (Aaron Burr), and Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler), and Jonathan Groff (King George) also didn’t miss their shot to be on Disney+.

The trailer looks fantastic, and the show is sure to blow us all away! Plus, you’re invited to watch the “Hamilfilm” with the stars themselves via their Twitter Watch Party.

Also, fans are getting ready for the film to drop like they’re running out of time! People are even making Hamilton-themed menu selections for the occasion, such as HAM-BURR-gers and “the 10 dual condiments.”
