Why You Should Add A Miami Food Truck Event To Your Bucket List

Thanks to pop culture shows like “Burn Notice” and “Miami Vice,” the city of Miami, Florida has become famous for its sublime beaches and crystal blue water. However, the city has much more to offer than sunbathing at the beach with drinks. In fact, Miami has many comedy clubs, bars, restaurants, and museums that provide excellent entertainment. More importantly, though, food trucks provide a true reflection of what cultures this sprawling metropolis has to offer.

Food trucks are mobile restaurants where you can find some of the city’s most hidden culinary delights. If you live in Miami or just plan to visit this city, you should consider adding the weekly Miami Food Truck Events to your “must do” list.

Beginning in 2015, the Miami Food Truck Events was the collaboration between the county manager, Tommy Salleh, and food truck vendors Bicky and Monty Goldman. Although these events took time to gain a following, they now occur three times a week in various locations around town.

Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet or savory, these weekly food truck events have what you are looking for.

In fact, these weekly food venues provide visitors with a chance to try 16 different food trucks. Some of the excellent regular food truck choices at these events include Monster Burger, Poke Smash, and Los Chamos (an authentic Venezuelan cuisine truck). These events also include some sweeter treats like MZS Mini Donuts or the Market Milkshake Bar.

Although the pandemic has impacted a lot of other events, the weekly Miami Food Truck Events are completely outdoors and follow mask mandates. These events make for a great night out of food and fun in beautiful outdoor parks.

If you’re planning a trip to Miami and want in on the fun, follow the Miami Food Truck Events on Instagram and Facebook so you can catch all the latest updates. I go every week, so I hope to see you all there!
