5 Old Navy Essentials That You Need In Your Closet This Fall

These days it’s challenging to find stores that allow in-store shopping, let alone ones that are worth shopping in. Luckily, Old Navy is one of the few that offers a wide variety of sizes, styles, colors, and pricing with both amazing in-store and online deals. As their frequent shopper, I can swear by a few of their best products that just so happen to be extremely affordable.

Leotards (They label them as “Tights”)

When I tell you these don’t rip or snag, I mean it. The nylon material is a tad thicker than that of most other brands and looks great in all seasons. I’ve had some of my pairs for over a year and they’ve barely been damaged. It’s well worth the $7-$9 because they actually last!

Elevate Athletic Leggings

Trying to find a comfortable athletic or even lounging legging can be challenging because you don’t want them to be too tight. The Elevate Legging is a high-quality product with similar material as the one that LuluLemon uses. What’s more, it comes in a variety of colors, lengths, waistlines, and sizes — and they have pockets! The price does fluctuate but the cheapest you’ll find them for is usually $24. They’re also often on sale.

Swing Dress

Old Navy offers a lot of different dress styles in various materials, but the ones that stand out to me are their swing dresses. They’re super light and breathable for spring and summer, flattering to all body types, have covered shoulders, and don’t shrink! You can get them for as low as $12 and they’re always available in a variety of colors and patterns.

Shoes

Now that a lot of major retailers are shutting down, finding affordable shoes is really challenging. However, Old Navy produces fantastic footwear for super affordable prices. They offer a variety of styles from flats and runners to wedges and heels. Plus, they offer up to a women’s 12 in some cases and are great for women with wide feet (like me). They also last a really long time — I’ve had a pair of their ankle booties for three years and I wear them at least twice a week during the fall and winter. Sadly, the price does fluctuate based on shoe style, but they go on sale frequently, and that’s the best time to buy them.

Rockstar Jeans

jeans are heaven-sent for curvy women since they stretch to fit your body type. While still made with a thick material, they look good on almost any body type and come in a huge range of sizes. Plus, the black ones don’t always look like jeans so you can get away with wearing them to work. They fluctuate in price depending on style, color, and any stylish rips, but they are worth the investment considering how durable they are. On top of that, they’re on sale at least once or twice a month.

You don’t always have to spend an arm and a leg to get great quality clothing. For me, it’s important to get great quality without breaking the bank, so even if Old Navy has some higher-priced items, it’s good to know that they’ll be going on sale. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for in the store, you can always order online and they offer easy in-store returns and exchanges. And that’s always important these days.
