4 Types Of Toxic People That You No Longer Need In Your Life

toxic people

Are you surrounded by toxic people who fill your life with constant negativity?

Remember that when we keep good company, our lives improve. And when we keep discouraging company, those people drag down our lives.

Here are the four types of toxic people you should free yourself from today:

1. Muckrakers

These toxic people live to drag up old, painful events and then revel in the anger, resentment, or bitterness that those unhappy memories hold.

Stay away from any tendency — in others or in yourself — that wants you to dive into suffering over past incidents.

2. Mudslingers

These malicious people push themselves up by pulling others down. They love to gossip, criticize, judge, and denigrate anyone who’s had the misfortune of spending time with them.

The only loyalty these miserable people have is to their own pain. They involve everyone in their mudslinging in order to feed their sorrow.

3. Swamp-dwellers

Swamp-dwellers are a group of people that thrives on regurgitating every unpleasant past memory.

These easily recognizable, unfortunate people serve up dreadful mental pictures of past and future events for the sake of the unnatural reactions they produce.

Ignore these corrupted people so that they can take their harsh memories elsewhere.

4. Life-haters

These toxic people perpetuate their hold on us by resisting the beautiful gifts of life.

They trick us into commiserating with their complaining, cruelty, and irritation because without our unconscious consent, these haters can’t spread their poison.

Just like harmful viruses require a human host to exist and thrive, negative people require our unconscious consent to carry out their dark missions.

But if we stay true to only keeping positive influences in our lives, these “life haters” can’t hold any power over us because they have no place to thrive. Our real inner work is to sweep toxic people out of our lives, which in turn brightens our existence and the lives of everyone around us.

If you’re seeing signs that a toxic person is taking over your life, it’s time to take action.

Revoke your own permission to allow toxicity into your life. Don’t judge yourself either. Instead,  refuse to spend any more time lending your precious life force to their negativity.

This powerful, positive action will change your life. You’ll attract lightness and cheer once again. Your relationships will deepen, your professional life will take on new vigor, and your life will match what you’ve always envisioned for yourself.
