What You Should Expect This October, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Merry meet; happy October! It’s finally fall, y’all, and we can’t be more thankful for the changing leaves, cooler weather, and (hopefully) better luck written for us in the stars. This month welcomes the Hunter’s Moon on October 24, just as Scorpio moves into the spotlight and just before Halloween fills our night with candy and delight. Anxious to see awaits you in October according to Unwritten? Check it out!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

October will be a month of building self-confidence and fostering self-awareness for you, beautiful rams. This may come in the form of financial stability, relationship development, or other personal gains. Be aware, though; don’t let your confidence get your heads too high in the clouds. Keep your feet grounded and be wary of over indulging, but enjoy the boost that comes this month!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Greek philosopher Protagoras said, “Man is the measure of all things.” This October, you find yourself in the thick of measuring as you try to keep your head above water with the overwhelming amount of work being thrown your way lately. Though you are managing to put your productive nature to work, it may be time to borrow the scales while Libra is in the house of the sun and weigh your options to find a greater balance in life.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Though the last few months have found you in a place of giving more than you get, the fall winds embrace you with a playful, carefree feeling. Allow these positive vibes to flow, and you’ll see the benefits in your creative endeavors as well as the relationships in your life. Be ready for some truly exciting experiences, and fearlessly allow yourself to move forward!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This month will be all about focusing on your family and home, dear crabs. Jupiter is moving into the prime position for you to mend bonds, make improvements, or move forward with plans for your home life. The new moon on the 13th would actually be prime time to begin a project involving family or strengthening your home foundation. Take full advantage, and don’t leave anything unsettled as Halloween rolls around.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

There’s something in the air, and it isn’t just the smell of pumpkin spice and everything nice for you this month, brave lion. You will find that your vain and material values are giving way to make room for the increased love in your everyday life. The opportunities that have been fleeting are now being dangled in front of you again, and you are eager to reach out and grab. A word of caution, though:  Human relations are fragile and therefore it is not wise to treat them carelessly. Be careful not only with your own heart, but also the others who may be impacted.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Be ready to muster up all the inner patience you can, because this month is going to seem more than a little sluggish for you. Do not let it bring you down, though: just keep one foot in front of the other, and you’ll make it there. As the month nears the end, you may find that you need to build awareness to your physical self and take some time for R&R.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Happy Birthday, sweet Libra! 2018 has been all about new adventures and beginnings for you, and this month will be no exception. It’s time to really buckle down, though, and evaluate everything from your finances to your personal values? Are things serving your needs and helping you move forward, or are you still sacrificing too much in the name of peace with others? It’s time to claim what is yours, whether it feels fair or not.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Tension has been building for some time now in your closest relationships, often causing you to feel like a volcano on the verge of eruption. Try to care for yourself physically and mentally for the first half of the month, as things will improve as the sun turns towards your sign. You’ll find it easier to compromise, see the big picture, and work towards personal growth.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

You’ve been working hard, but don’t stop now: there’s still some clouds on the horizon before you make it to the sunshine. This month may be a good time for reflection and self-evaluation so that you can start the next cycle around the sun with peace and balance next month. Also, your ruler Jupiter will be around the last few weeks, so don’t miss your chance to find new friends and acquaintances who will join you in achieving your ideals.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Your career has been receiving a lot of universal energy, but Mars has been tricking you into loafing around too much, precious sea goat. With Mars moving into retrograde this month, it’s a great time to buckle down and get busy. Just remember that things can always change in the blink of an eye, be it positive or negative. Be mindful of what you really seek and let your work ethic move you there.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Tons of planetary energy is flowing the parts of your chart that involve higher education and philosophical ideas. It’s time to use the cosmic energy in your life to the fullest this month! The New Moon on the 3rd brings the opportunity to make a new beginning where travel, education, or even legal matters are concerned. Take a vacation, buy some books on a topic you wish you knew more about, or find a group to join that will expand your mind. The sky’s the limit!

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

This month may be the time the stars align for you to feel some financial ease, gorgeous fish. Also, be mindful of the signs around you, as there may be answers for you in your everyday world. Remember, enlightenment can often come suddenly, like a flash of lightning in a seemingly clear sky.

If October doesn’t sound like good things are in store, don’t lose faith! There are still 2 more beautiful months full of food, family, and fun ahead for 2018.
