Drake’s Tweet From 2012 Was Turned Into A Meme And It’s Freaking Hilarious

Some tweets don’t age well, while others never die. And just when we couldn’t get enough of the Cardi B meme, Twitter users did some digging to find us our something else for us to laugh at when scrolling through our timelines.

The tweet that’s now making it’s rounds on the internet isn’t even from this month or year. It’s actually from 2012!

In May of 2012, Drake tweeted this:

Fast forward 5 years later, this tweet has not only gone viral, but also became a meme. No one knows exactly what he was referring to at the time of the tweet, but that makes it all the more fun. Most recently, his song “In My Feelings” sparked a social media challenge for people to find clever ways to dance along.

But, it’s SO relatable, too many times we’ve all found ourselves in the “What am I gonna do? Say no?” situation.

If you don’t believe me, we scoured Twitter for you and found all the best memes for you to have a good laugh at.

Once upon a time, Club Penguin was the shit. I don’t got time for you mom, #sorrynotsorry.

We’ve all lied a little bit about this one, but like we got some intense Club Penguin to play.

Picture this, it’s your birthday and you open the present and then you instantly hate it but this tweet describes what you’re thinking.

You were just trying to be a good person but it backfired.

This moment is too real… When you look at your haircut for the first time and hate it but you’re hairdresser just spent hours slaving over your hair and your conflicted about how to react.

You try to be the girl who just wants to have a cozy night in with Netflix but you’re friends don’t wanna leave you out and you’re always down for a good time.

I mean like… How many times has a dog owner said you can’t pet their dog?

Ah, finally an answer to that age-old question.

I must say, I’m thrilled this tweet is going viral because it’s something that’s so relatable and prompts some great threads. Plus, you can totally picture Drake saying this in your head when you read it. Just me? Okay.. I just hope he makes reference to this in a new diss track because it would be a great line to scream out loud.

I don’t love Kiki, but I do love Drake!
