My name is Allysha, although I typically go by Ally. I'm in my early thirties and in many ways, happier than I have ever been. (I'll expound on that later!) My graduate degree is in public administration and I have experience in nonprofit management, education, and social work. Some of my passions in life include spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, snuggling with my two Maltese puppies, writing, reading, traveling, playing games, making memories in the great outdoors, photography, education, and social justice advocacy. I am a member of the LGBT+ community; I also co-exist with chronic illness, so those are two major themes you will see in my writing. Let me end with one of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou: "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."
