6 Celebs You Didn’t Know Have Their Own Wine Brands

I don’t know about you, but I love wine. If you do too, then it’s a great time to look into some new brands since the wine business is booming these days! From romantic reds, chic Chardonnays, and the ever so popular Rosé, there’s a lot to choose from. And because of the increasing popularity of wine, a lot of celebrities have dipped their toes (for grape squishing) to create their own wine brands. While some are a tad overpriced, others are really affordable, accessible, and delicious.

Here are 6 best celebrity-owned wines:

Cameron Diaz — Avaline

The actress and new mom just collaborated with Katherine Powe to launch a new wine brand, Avaline. It’s described as “wine at its purest, created for those who embrace the pleasure of a whole life and a relaxed approach to wellbeing.” Basically, this wine is made for you to enjoy while sitting back, relaxing, and sipping your troubles away. Jason Priestley — Black Hills Estate

That’s right — your mom’s favorite 90210 crush owns a wine company. Black Hills Estate Winery was his go-to investment when the opportunity presented itself back in 2007, primarily because the estate is located in his home province of British Columbia, Canada. Not only does the company offer great deals for shipping, but they also have a variety of blends for the perfect occasion and everyone’s tastes.

Mary J. Blige — Sun Goddess Wines

Bet you didn’t know this Grammy Award-winning songstress has a wine collection. She just released a limited-edition collection called Sun Goddess Wines as part of a collaboration with Fantinel Winery. The collection features an Italian Pinot Grigio Ramato and an Italian Sauvignon Blanc, perfect for two different types of taste buds. And of course, the packaging is as fabulous as you’d expect it to be from Ms. Blige.

Wayne Gretzky — Wayne Gretzky Estates

This hockey star created a Canadian winery back in the early 2010s where they produce 8 blends (and counting) of award-winning wine, rye, whiskey,  ice wine, and beer. I’ve actually been to the estate for a tasting and there wasn’t a bad thing offered — I literally begged for more in each glass. But nothing beats the Riesling, the accessibility, and affordable pricing.

Kaitlyn Bristowe — Spade & Sparrows

Everyone’s fave Bachelorette created the perfect blends of red, white, and rosé for any occasion (such as your Monday night viewing parties). The brand is a tad hard to get your hands on since it’s so popular and very few places carry it. However, once you finally do get a bottle, you wish it would last you longer. It’s delicious and truly made by a Millennial woman who knows a good bottle of wine when she sees one.

Post Malone — Maison No. 9

The rapper found himself passionate about wine after working with Mark Wahlberg (who is an avid wine connoisseur) and decided to create his own French rosé blend this year. Maison No. 9 just launched a few weeks ago and sold out within the first day. What’s more, the wine collection has been reviewed to be a delicious wine by many, which is kind of surprising considering who is behind the brand. Sadly, we may have to wait a little longer to get a sample, but he promised more will come shortly!

Celebrities may be more fabulous than us and may have far more money to spend on wine. But they still understand the need for it, especially these days. And they can also appreciate a good blend when they come across one. And even if I’m not a fan of the celebrity, I’ll always try their products because how could I not? I need to judge!
