We get it – you think that summer is canceled. You think that you and your friends won’t be able to head to the beach or to the local pool this summer because of the coronavirus pandemic. Well, you are right in some aspects. But whoever said that you are not able to buy a swimsuit for a stay-at-home summer within the CDC guidelines was wrong. You can. With there being such a wide range of new colors, silhouettes, and approaches to swimsuits, we want to make sure that you are still looking hot even within the comfort of your own home!

Here are 4 swimsuits trends that will leave you feeling hot this summer.

1. The Color To Wear: Tangerine

A classic color for the spring season has translated into the summer season! As seasons roll by, we are introduced to new colors that the fashion world is drawn to, and tangerine is at the top of the list. This color has been seen on the Spring/Summer runways that include Valentino and Emilia Wickstead. With this color being so bold, we are expecting it to be a dominant color that is going to be on all the racks and bodies this summer. On top of that, tangerine represents energy, contenement, new projects, and motivation. So rock your tangerine, girl!

2. Let’s Keep It Covered

2020 is the year of the coverup (aside from your mask and gloves, that is). From what we have seen, wearing tops with sleeves, booty shorts, and high-rise bottoms is making its way to the beach and to your closet. These types of bathing suits are modest and do not show as much skin as your typical bathing suit. No matter the print or color, anything will look well as you relax either at home or 6 feet away from the next person at the pool!

3. A Tropical Paradise

From the runway to the beach, another classic has appeared! During the spring/summer 2020 fashion shows, some of our favorite designers such as Fendi and Marni brought in those tropical prints in every bold color. We believe this trend sparked their interest due to J.Lo’s Versace look that went viral on Instagram. This will be a significant print within the swimwear realm that we will not get enough of. Remember to mix and match them when you can as well.

4. Ruche It Away

Shaping Swimsuit ($25.99)

It is so simple but quite lovely all at the same time. This year has brought on some exciting concepts, but this is the one that we cannot get enough of. This trend is incorporating a more romantic feel to swimwear, while still keeping a classy and straightforward look that can be accessorized in more ways than one. Even if this look might be out of your comfort zone, we still think you should try it.

No matter what, this year holds many wonders fashion-wise, and we can’t wait to see them all develop. Do not let COVID-19 keep you from doing what you enjoy! Just find safer outlets or alternatives that are within the CDC guidelines and enjoy the upcoming summer. These swimsuits are sure to get anyone excited.
