Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden just announced they secretly welcomed a baby girl to the world! And sticking with Madden brothers tradition, the future punk princess has a unique and edgy name, Raddix!
While we don’t know when the baby arrived, some speculate it was within the first three days of the new year based on the wording of the birth announcement.
The news comes as shocking as the couple isn’t really in headlines anymore and are living a much simpler life. Cameron Diaz, 47, has been taking a step back from acting while Benji Madden, 40, has been busy touring with his band Good Charlotte and being on Australia’s version of The Voice.
Reports claim that the couple hoped to start a family in January 2018. In fact, sources claimed that the Maddens “would love to have a baby but are having trouble conceiving.”
A source revealed that they tried procedures such as acupuncture and IVF in hopes to get pregnant. Since then, no one published further reports about the topic.
Despite the seemingly odd pairing, Cameron and Benji proved one of the strongest couples in Hollywood time and time again. While they remain extremely private about their lives, fans see glimpses on social media and in interviews that prove how much the couple values their marriage and prioritizes their relationship.
The couple stared dating in May 2014 and were married in May 2016, just 14 months later. They were introduced by Benji’s sister in law Nicole Richie, who is married to his twin brother and business partner, Joel Madden.
So ladies, if you’re jealous of their love story, get yourself a friend like Nicole. Because look at the wonderful type of relationship she created. (And now one of her best friends is officially her sister! #bestiegoals)
