If You Do Me Wrong, Karma Will Handle It & I’ll Be Watching

I don’t chase revenge. I don’t lose sleep plotting someone else’s downfall. That’s not who I am. But let me be clear: If you do me dirty, karma will absolutely spin the block. And when it does, I won’t feel shocked. I won’t feel sad. I’ll continue minding my business, watching the dust settle, and knowing that the karma you receive is what you deserve.

People who hurt others without a second thought never get away with their actions. Their karma may not come today or tomorrow, but the energy they show others always finds its way back to them. This is not pettiness or bitterness; it’s the universe’s way of restoring balance.

When someone betrays you, lies to you, or takes advantage of your kindness, it’s natural to want them to feel as hurt as they make you feel. But now, I know that you don’t have to do anything to hurt them. The universe will handle them for you. Call it “karma,” call it “justice,” and call it “what goes around comes around,” but know that whatever you call it, it’s inevitable and never missed.

I don’t need an apology that comes years too late. 

I don’t need closure from someone who didn’t deserve access to me in the first place. All I need is the quiet satisfaction of knowing that my peace will stay intact while my former friend’s world slowly unravels.

I’ve watched it happen too many times. People who wrongly try to paint me as the problem instead of taking ownership for their issues end up tripping over their own lies. Their relationships fall apart. Their circles shrink. Their energy shifts. When they realize they fumbled their friendship with me, they lose the light in their eyes. And as I watch my former friends’ lives cave in, I don’t have to do a thing. I just keep moving forward.

That’s the beauty of believing in karma — knowing that the universe will work against those who hurt you is freeing. 

You don’t have to get even. You don’t have to explain yourself. And you don’t have to chase validation. You can stay in your lane, become the best version of yourself, and trust that the universe doesn’t ignore ugly behavior. It doesn’t forget who stayed loyal — and who hurt others. This belief in karma empowers you to focus on your growth and let the universe take care of the rest.

The people who wrong you often think that they’re untouchable. They believe that if they block you, ghost you, or run from accountability, it erases the harm they caused you. But the truth is that these people can’t outrun anything—not you, karma, or the consequences of their actions.

I believe that karma has perfect timing. And while I don’t wish others harm, I believe in justice. Justice quietly rebalances the world until the same pain others cause ultimately returns to them. Justice never involves wanting others to suffer. Instead, it’s about watching the scales tip back toward what’s fair and right.

So when I say that I’ll watch my former friends’ lives fall apart, I don’t mean that I’ll clap when it happens. 

I’ll be at peace, knowing I didn’t need to hurt anyone to get even. I’ll stay in my own lane, watching the universe protect those with good hearts and make sure that those who hurt others experience pain.

Let people say what they want about the hurt that they caused. Let them lie, deflect, and victimize themselves. I no longer need to fight for others to see the truth because it always reveals itself. The energy that people put into the universe always comes back to them. And the best part? When it does, I’ll be too healed to care.

But I’ll still see karma do its work. And I’ll know that it gave people what they deserve.

Karma doesn’t play. And I don’t need to either.
