What I Learned From Dating Every Zodiac Sign

Each zodiac element is a complex family with similarities. The zodiac sign itself is even more complex and fragmented. What is it like to date, and more, to love, each of these complex figures? I did it so you don’t have to, and here are my findings:

Earth Signs

Capricorn

Dating a Capricorn is easy until it’s not. Capricorns are deeply devoted in their relationships and will stop at nothing to make you happy. That said, they have the stubbornness of an Earth sign, so debates can get heated quickly. They also do not like to be wrong. It will be a romance full of honesty and openness, almost to an infuriating degree. A Capricorn will never be the one to leave but will instead be the one left.

Virgo

Virgos are like a silent disco party. You wouldn’t expect it from their calm energy, but they love to party. They love to end each night with a cuddle and a horror film. They are a blast to date while it lasts, but the end comes quickly and unexpectedly. 

Taurus

Tauruses are a soft place to land in a relationship. You will always feel safe with them. They have a natural protectiveness toward you that never fades. They love to be helpful; give them a task, and they will happily complete it for you. They love their routines and are a steady hand. 

Fire Signs

Aries

You will never love someone as much as you love an Aries. The connection is instant, but they are difficult to please. They often don’t know what they truly want, and that shows in their past relationships. This is the sign to plan activity dates, given their fun, competitive nature. Don’t date an Aries if you can’t roll with their punches. 

Leo

Don’t date a Leo if you can’t handle the heat. They are judgmental and usually right. Their bullshit detector is off the charts, so never try to lie to them, or you will lose their trust forever. Leos are passionate lovers who cherish their partners’ opinions. Take them out to a trivia night to work together on a challenge. 

Sagittarius

They are known as the funniest sign for a reason; a Sagittarius will never fail to make you laugh. They are dependable and have a strong moral compass. They might overlook your hard work every now and then, but they will never leave you on read. They match your energy like no other. 

Air Signs

Gemini

Geminis are so much fun to be in a relationship with, and yet so dangerous. If you love tightrope walking and sword swallowing, date a Gemini. They have intense sexual chemistry with all their partners. They are skeptical, but once you earn their trust, it is never lost. Take a Gemini out for a midnight stroll to see the stars; you’ll never have a better conversation.

Libra

A gentle love. To be loved by a Libra is like being kissed upon the forehead with your eyes closed. It won’t work if you aren’t all in. You cannot date a Libra halfway. Their kind nature might drive you nuts at times, but in the end, it’s why you love them. The best way to love a Libra: befriend their friends. 

Aquarius

Often the lone wolf, but the most unique lovers out there. Aquarians love stories and have many to tell. Go see a show with an Aquarius and have an experience. You will fall in love not just with the person but with their way of being. You don’t have to be a lone wolf to date an Aquarius. Often, the best pairing is an introverted Aquarius and an extroverted fire sign. 

Water Signs

Scorpio

Scorpios are intense lovers. Either quick and bright or slow and warm. They never truly fall out of love, maybe because they never start. Scorpios do not do well at a distance. They need to fuel their love for you often with physical touch and quality time. 

Cancer

Cancers are special people to love. To be loved by a Cancer is an honor. They love deeply or not at all—the most likely sign to go from friends to lovers. Do not ever betray this sign or lead them on; lead with honesty and your best foot forward. They have the most loyal friends who will tear you apart in a minute.

Pisces

Pisces are stealthy in their relationships. They are slow to warm up, but when they do, you will never have a more intimate relationship. They have a unique air about them. However, their eyes tend to wander, a sign of their inability to be satisfied.
