7 Ways To Casually Spice Up Your Hair

We all know how tired we can feel in the mornings. Oftentimes, we feel the need to rush out the door, especially if we sleep in. But then we notice we need to prepare our work outfit for the day. As we dress up, we look in the mirror and ask ourselves – what should I do with this bedhead? Do we comb it? Brush it? Or leave it down?

And how can we style it quickly?

Well, fear not! Here are seven ways to spice up your hairstyle for those long, Monday mornings:

1. Add a bow

Bows are honestly a lifesaver in the hair world. It doesn’t matter which hairstyle you choose, but any bow will look cute. The fastest hair bow method is to section your hair to the side, and add a bow on one of the sides. Or, if you want to be a little fancy, style your hair as a half up, half down, and cover the elastic band with a bow.

2. Add braids

Braids are wonders for any hairstyle you choose. You can braid a ponytail and put it in a bun. And if you’re having a bad hair day, braid your hair loosely and section it off to the side. After all, braids are very versatile.

3. Wear a cap

Caps look good on everyone, especially during the summer. If you’re noticing that your baby hairs are getting in the way, you can put an ease to the frizziness with a cap. Plus, you can wear your cap forwards, sideways, or backwards.

4. Put your hair in a low bun

Low buns are easier than high buns; they take less time and look much classier. All you need to do is grab your hair at the bottom of your head, get an elastic, and tie it a few times. Take the bottom section of the hair and pull it halfway, then finish it with a few clips.

5. Use a hair claw

Hair claws are a lifesaver when you want to put your hair up, but are not in the mood for a high pony. You just have to take a chunk of your hair, twist it around, and place a hair claw on top of the messiness. Then you’ll be ready to rush out the door in no time.

6. Add a cute bobby pin

There are lots of bobby pins out there. And if you’re feeling the need to spice up your hair wardrobe, purchase a bobby pin of a different shape or object. Some bobby pins come as flowers, hearts, or stars. Imagine adding those to your hair – they’ll be the perfect accessory for a party.

7. Add a ribbon

If you don’t have a bow, you can purchase a ribbon from the dollar store and add it to your hair. All you need to do is tie the ribbon as if you’re tying a shoelace. However, the ribbon can spice up your hairstyle in other ways as well. You can include it as a strand for a braid, or tie it around your elastic.

When you’re having a bad hair day, be sure to try out these seven ways to spice up your style. In one to two minutes, you’ll be leaving the door ready for work. Which one is your favorite? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
