During the summer, dating is a whole other ball game. You need to take advantage of the season and have fun outside! If you’re having trouble coming up with romantic outings, here are four summer dating ideas to try.

1. Go On a Hike

Experiencing the beauty of nature is hard when it’s thirty degrees outside. Because of this, you and your partner might be craving some outdoor summer adventures. If this is the case, you guys may want to try a hike. This activity allows you to see beautiful scenery, get away from civilization and challenge yourselves. If you’re not looking for a difficult athletic activity, don’t discount hiking immediately. Not all hikes involve steep cliffs and rocky terrain! Many trails are fairly flat and easy to traverse. If you guys want a more elongated getaway, you can always turn the hike into a camping trip. This could give you an in-depth experience involving nature and the planet in general. By the time you get back, you may even want to research climate change hands on activities.

2. Visit the Beach

Visiting the beach during the summertime is almost always enjoyable, especially if you’re looking to swim. Therefore, you might want to spend a week or so in a beach town. Find an area that fits the vibes you’re going for. If you’d like an exciting vacation full of shopping and clubbing, then popular sites like Clearwater Beach might be for you. However, you may have more fun with a more private and romantic experience. In this case, you’ll need to look for less tourist-filled areas. Once you’ve found a spot, you can start having fun! Be sure to bring towels, multiple bathing suits, sunscreen, sandals, lotion, sunglasses, hats and coverups. If you have room, you may also want an umbrella or a tent. Find a spot in the sand, grab a drink and relax!

3. Try an Amusement Park

Amusement parks aren’t ideal when it comes to private dates. However, bringing your partner to a park can be thrilling and excellent for building your relationship. Start by deciding how large this outing will be. If you guys are willing to spend a week or so on vacation, you may want to invest in traveling to Walt Disney World. On the other hand, you could simply spend a day in a local theme park. Whatever you decide, be sure to check out your park’s nightlife opportunities. After the kids go home, many parks have activities that allow for more romance. For instance, adults visiting Magic Kingdom can watch the fireworks on a private balcony. If there’s nothing available, you can always return to your hotel and relax by the pool. During your trip, be sure to take lots of pictures with each other. You’ll want to remember all the fun you had!

4. Travel

Traveling, especially internationally, isn’t easy to schedule. It takes time to have a fulfilling sightseeing trip. It’s also difficult to move around amidst snowstorms and blizzards. Therefore, summer is usually the optimal time to travel. While it can be tempting to surprise your partner with tickets, be sure to discuss this date beforehand. It’s important for both of you to have a say in the location. Once you have some places in mind, you can decide how your trip will go. Independent couples may want to do the exploring without help. However, you might be worried about missing exciting opportunities. In this case, you can always travel with a group. You may even want to hop on a cruise! No matter what you decide, remember to make the most out of the experience. Take pictures with each other, try couples activities and view the most romantic places in the world.
