My Mom Is My Best Friend And I’m Extremely Proud Of That

mom is my friend

My mom is my best friend.

She’s the one who birthed me. She’s also the one who raised me and shaped me into the person I am today. I wouldn’t be who I am or have the opportunities I’ve had if it wasn’t for her. My mom sacrificed plenty in order for us to have a good life, and I will never forget everything that she has had to give up. She has my unconditional love and utmost respect. She is the most wonderful, inspirational woman, I know.

However, our relationship runs so much deeper than just love…

My mom is my best friend for life. There’s no one else who will ever know me as well as she does. With a simple glance at me, she can decipher my emotions. When I feel defeated, her shoulder is the first I cry on. My mom even knows when I want her close and when she should give me space. We understand each other without speaking a single word. We have an incredibly special bond, and I can never replace it. She’s the one I would die for in a heartbeat. And I know that she would for me.

No matter whether I have good or bad news, my mom is always the first person I call. Her wise, encouraging words mean the world to me, and I will always take them to heart.

My mom and I have been through a lot together, which has only made us stronger. I adore her resilience, her strength, and her trusting nature. All of the qualities I love make her a better mother (and a better human, too).

My mom is my best friend in every sense of the word. Hence, we talk daily, discuss our lives constantly, and even party together. We have a non-traditional mother-daughter relationship, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day, I am grateful for my mother and the connection we share. I know that I will never have such a deep and strong bond with anyone else.

My greatest wish is to be just as caring and attentive to my own children as my mom’s always been to me. I want to give my children the same love and affection as I’ve received as a child because I know how powerful it is. I know I will be just as loving as my own mother because I’ve learnt from the best.

So if you’re reading this, call your mom. Let her know how much she means to you. Moreover, be each other’s best friends. You never know how much time you’ll have with her, and you’ll regret not showing her how much you care. So let your mom know that you love her.

I promise you that you’ll never regret it.
