Paula T is a Brooklyn-based artist who discovered her love of music at age 6. Her passion for music began when she started playing the piano.
She also began songwriting at a young age. Like many artists, she didn’t share her work right away for fear of rejection. But writing music wasn’t enough, so in 2025, she felt it was time for the world to hear what she had to say, she leaped.
What did she do?
In early 2025, she released her first song, Canary, which now has about 5000-6000 streams. Since the release of Canary, Paula has been booking shows with crowds of all sizes and backgrounds across NYC, sharing the stage with other local artists.
There’s no stopping this artist and her creativity. Recently, she released her new song Sugar tits. It’s out now, and it’s catchy and fun. It gets stuck in your head and is a bop that is uniquely Paula in the best way possible.
What fans seem to love most about Paula is not fame or becoming the next biggest star; rather, it’s that she’s trying to build community and connection, especially now, when we need it more than ever.
It is refreshing and something that we don’t see much these days. We need to re-enter the music industry. You might be asking, “How do we do that?” The answer is simple: Support.
When unknown artists like Paula share their music, go to their shows. It’s validating for the artist. And all the work they put into their craft
I believe that if we all took the time to do that, we would see the value of unknown artists like Paula T and what they have to offer the world: cool vibes, community, and connection in ways that prominent artists wish they could, but often fall short.
Take a moment out of your day and show support for an unknown artist today, like Paula T. Go follow her and see. If she’s playing a show near you, listen to her new song out right now!
