2020 has been one of the most stressful years ever. During these times, it is important that we all make time for stress-relieving activities so that we maintain balance and mental clarity. Since not all stress relief activities work for everyone, check out these recommendations for stress relief activity for you based on your zodiac sign.

Aries (March 21-April 19) 

This star sign remains in the action and never takes no as an answer. To de-stress, these rams need to either completely zen down with meditation and de-plug or do a full intensity work out to burn off any extra steam they may be storing. 

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

These individuals love keeping a steady schedule and routine and are hesitant to change and transformation. When finding themselves needing to cope with undue stress, focusing on breathing and relaxation can help. Try square breathing whenever you catch yourself with downtime whether during your work day or for a few minutes before bed. 

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Since Gemini’s remain intellectually focused, their brains are often where their stress has the most impact. To de-stress, they should turn to a physically demanding but regimented workout such as martial arts or a dance routine. 

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Cancers tend to feel stress emotionally and you can tell they’re stressed when they are sensitive and emotionally touchy. To de-stress, these individuals should focus on nourishment. They best can wind down by trying a new recipe or enjoying a bubble bath with some drops of lavender essential oils. 

Leo (July 23- August 22)

Leos often love praise, and this can be a good way for them to reset after a stressful week. Call a friend and check-in, listen to a motivational speech, or try an at-home Zumba workout  to get your blood flowing. 

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Capricorns are very much creatures of habits and like taking the initiative when it comes to creating plans or traditions. COVID can certainly put a damper on creatures of this sort. If you want to connect with your loved ones to relieve some stress, organize a holiday cookie mail exchange or ship ornaments to everyone you care about.

These folks are ones who feel the best when they are learning and are intellectually stimulated. Reading a book on a topic you’re interested in or listening to a thought-provoking podcast can best help them feel in touch with their inner peace.

Pisces (February 19 to March 20)

These emotional beings are at their best when they are expressing themselves artistically. Also, volunteering always helps these folks feel better, but in COVID times that may look like sending a thank you note to health care workers or local teachers. 

It is important to take time to re-center and balance during these difficult times.
