10 Great Mother’s Day Gifts That You Can Order Online

It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Although we can’t hit the shops in search of the perfect gift, no virus will stop us from celebrating the amazing women who made us who we are today. In fact, there are countless Mother’s Day gift options available online! If you’re still searching for the perfect gift for the perfect mother, check out these 10 online gift ideas.

1. Use your favorite photos to make a personalized gift.

When you visit Shutterfly.com, you can turn your favorite memories with your mom into priceless possessions. Pick one or more of your favorite photos with your mom (or your mom’s favorite photo of you) and turn it into a custom pillow, coffee mug, phone case, or more!

2. Let your mom be excited about college with you.

For those of you in college or just graduating, let your mom share the excitement with you by loading her up on college swag! A shirt or jacket could go a long way to show your mother how much you appreciate her never-ending support and encouragement.

3. Give the gift of entertainment.

Most of us are spending a lot more time at home than we usually do. With all this free time, it  means we have a lot more time to stream content. If you think your mom would love Disney+, Netflix, or Hulu, make her an account and pay for at least the first few months. If your mom already has a favorite streaming service, get her a gift card to cover some of her monthly payments.

4. Commemorate the holiday with Things Remembered.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a meaningful keepsake from Things Remembered.  You can choose from beautiful, high quality jewelry boxes, necklaces, robes, lockets, and even snow globes. You can have your selection engraved with a special quote or phrase that’s important to your relationship… or just mark it with your mom’s initials.

5. Purchase a gift from a small business.

If you can imagine it, someone on Etsy probably makes it. Etsy has millions of one-of-a-kind items, and every purchase supports independent business owners.

6. It could be time for an electronic upgrade.

If you have money to spend, consider splurging on  Apple products. You can order your mom the new iPhone SE or upgrade her Apple Watch. You also can order other electronics like TVs or computers online from stores like Best Buy, Target, and Costco

7. Stick with the classics.

Although many flower shops and bakeries have sealed their doors due to the pandemic, many are still offering delivery options. My mom and I have always been big fans of See’s Candy and Cherly’s Cookies, which will ship anywhere within the United States. You can also check with your local flower shop or bakery to see what Mother’s Day specials may be available.

8. Think of her favorite fandoms.

If your mom has a favorite book or movie, look for merchandise related to it. I’ve yet to meet a mother who doesn’t love Disney, and Disney offers some great deals online (and free shipping). I personally recommend the Dooney & Bourke bags, but you can also find great Disney gifts under $25 too. If your mom is partial to other fandoms, such as the Harry Potter series, make sure you check out Hot Topic or BoxLunch

9. Gift cards give the gift of choice.

If you are stuck on what to give your mom, consider a gift card to one of her favorite stores. You’ll be treating her to a shopping spree, and she’ll be able to pick something she really loves. In my family, we like to make “gift card bouquets” to include multiple favorite stores. Lots of stores offer gift cards online, and Amazon sells many different types of gift cards that can be delivered via email.

10. Treat your mom to some at home pampering.

All the moms out there work hard, and deserve a chance to relax. Help your mom relax with a soothing bath bomb from Lush, or a gift set from Bath & Body Works

No matter what gift you pick out for your mother, the important thing is she gets a reminder that you love her and appreciate her. As long as you put in a little bit of thought, you can’t go wrong.
