Madelyn Heslet

Madelyn is a 27 year old single mother learning to thrive instead of just survive. She is a mental health warrior and advocate published on The Mighty, Painted Brain News, and Beautiful Minds Magazine. After a two-year hiatus, Madelyn returns to the writing world, contributing to Unwritten. She is on a journey to discover herself outside of young motherhood, sharing her journey through her writing. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, venturing outside of her hometown in Ohio, and is a cat lady-in-training.
