7 Coffee Alternatives That’ll Give You The Energy Boost You Need

I have never been the biggest fan of coffee. While I do love the occasional frappe, I know that I can live without it. I don’t need coffee to wake me up or keep me awake. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have trouble. There are definitely times where I need a boost to keep me going, but I don’t depend on coffee. Instead of coffee, I have found coffee alternatives that give me more energy than coffee ever will and doesn’t leave me feeling sluggish at the end of the day.

1. Sleep

The first one is the best and probably the most obvious. Get a good night’s sleep. Sleep is the best to rest your mind and body. This helps you have more energy the next day. The more rest you get, the more your batteries are able to recharge. It’s difficult with work, school, and everything else going on, but it’s the best way to get energy.

2. Walks

Spending time outside always gives me energy. I enjoy going for a walk outside. This one is a little more time consuming, but it gives me what I need. It’s great for gaining energy and it’s good for your health. Also, it saves you a lot of money.

3. Water

Another simple thing you can do is drink water. It’s super easy and you can get water pretty much anywhere. Staying hydrated is essential to keeping your energy and your focus. Carrying some water with you throughout your day is a great way to keep pushing through.

4. Shower

When you feel like you can’t keep going, sometimes it’s good to cool yourself off. Taking a shower is a great way to wake up and feel refreshed. Take a cool shower and in no time you will feel ready to keep going. It’s one of the best refreshing coffee alternatives for sure.

5. Naps

Obviously sleep is important in giving us energy. So if you don’t sleep enough at night, there is a remedy. Take a power nap. A quick 15-minute nap is just enough to give you a jolt of energy.

6. Chocolate

There are plenty of other foods and drinks with caffeine in them. For instance, eat some chocolate. A little bit of chocolate will go a long way. Who doesn’t love chocolate? This gives you a reason to have some! Gotta be one of the top coffee alternatives & delicious!

7. Music

There is nothing better than a great playlist to really get you going. Listen to some upbeat music. This will help motivate you to keep going throughout the day. It’s more natural energy.

I have nothing personally against coffee, but sometimes there are better ways to boost energy than drinking two cups of coffee every morning. Most of these things will save you money and are very natural. If you’re looking to cut back on coffee without cutting back on energy, this list may be for you.
