6 YouTube Videos That All Yoga Beginners Should Check Out

If you’ve gotten extremely bored while being stuck at home with very repetitive and minimal tasks to do, raise your hand! If so, have you felt the strong urge to finally try something new with all the free time on your hands?

Well, if you have, you aren’t alone.

For a lot of young women, yoga helps with relaxation and inner peace. Now is the perfect time to start learning this practice. Even though yoga is soothing for the soul, it can be quite tricky to start if you have no clue where to begin. Luckily, thanks to the magic of YouTube, we have some answers to help you reach your fitness goals and achieve spiritual serenity.

All you need is a yoga mat and a little bit of space (so move that coffee table if you must). Arrange your computer or phone so that you can easily see the screen and throw on your best stretchy clothes. Let’s begin!

BrettLarkinYoga

BrettLarkinYoga actually has a 6-piece yoga lesson for beginners that literally describes everything you need to know. The instructor explains every detail, from correct pose and positioning to other useful information you may need.

RosalieYoga

It’s not always easy to get a good workout in five minutes, but RosalieYoga has a great video on how to accomplish just that. It’s quick and easy (even though it’s a tad painful), but you’ll feel so good afterward. Plus, this five-minute workout is a great little break from working from home. (What’s more, her voice is so soothing).

Yoga With Adriene

Yoga with Adriene definitely is one of my favorite YouTube accounts for beginners because she has many easy-to-follow tutorials with great explanations. Traditionally, she creates 20-minute videos to follow that are designed specifically for newbies. Additionally, if you’re already an expert, she has lots of content for you, too.

Boho Beautiful

When some people hear the word yoga, they want to relax. Boho Beautiful’s page is dedicated to yoga classes with beautiful views and soundtracks to help guarantee the best virtual yoga experience possible.

SarahBethYoga

SarahBethYoga has an awesome 10-minute yoga routine that I love to follow in the morning because it kicks off my day. Not only is it fast and great for first-timers, but it also includes some awesome stretches.

Yoga With Kassandra

Sometimes our bodies crave a nice, long stretch in order to recharge. Yoga With Kassandra has an awesome 10-minute long tutorial that gives your body that well-needed stretch. Believe it or not, I now use this routine as part of my daily morning ritual just because it feels that good.

Yoga isn’t always a high-intensity or super laid back kind of workout, like many people assume. You can decide what you want to get out of your yoga experience. Sometimes people simply want a quick fix, while others want to push their bodies to their limits. It’s all about finding an instructor that suits your needs and growing your knowledge. It may seem foolish at first, but you will gain the confidence and strength the more you practice. So check out these yoga YouTube videos and get started!
