Natalie Rodriguez is a writer, filmmaker, and mental health and trauma advocate based in Los Angeles, California. In 2014, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in TV-Film from CSU Fullerton. Her writing work has been featured on Amazon Books, All Women Stalk, Anxiety Resource Center, The Huffington Post, Zooey Deschanel's Hello Giggles, The Mighty, GoDaddy, TheRichest, TheTalko, TheThings, and Writer's Weekly. Recently, she just wrapped her directorial debut feature film, "The Extraordinary Ordinary," a story about three young adults, their history with mental health and trauma, and how they cope with it. The film stars Maddison Bullock ("Ice the Movie"), Ana Marte ("Get It Girl"), Alex Montalban ("My Dinner with Herve"), and John Posey ("How to Get Away with Murder"). She wrote the screenplay and was the executive producer on the film project as well. Natalie's screenplays and films have placed in the final rounds at the Athena Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, Funny or Die, Hollywood Screenplay Contest, IndieFEST Awards, Indie Night Film Festival, NALIP: Latino Lens, Oregon Short Film Festival, Script Pipeline, Table Read My Screenplay - Austin Film Festival, CSU Media Arts Film Festival, and more. Currently, her Young Adult manuscript, "Elephant," is in consideration with a few publishing house and literary agents. Other projects include the book adaptation of "The Extraordinary Ordinary," which is completed with its first draft, and a children's story called, "Matty Cat," that is in the final stages of its illustrations.
