Here’s Why You’re Still Single, Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Single AF? Don’t worry, so am I. And that’s probably why you even clicked on this article. That or you’re nosey about someone else — either way, we aren’t here to judge. Regardless, if you believe in the zodiac, you’re clearly in tune with what your sign represents and how it mixes with other signs. These telling traits could also help explain why you may be single for a lengthy amount of time.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

You either try too hard or not hard enough; there is no in-between. In relationships, you may be inconsistent with partners — one minute you could be writing cute love texts and the next you don’t care to hang out with them. You need to find balance in relationships. Don’t push them away because of your inconsistency.  

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

When you fall, you fall hard. You’re willing to give everyone a second chance when they don’t deserve it. And it’s almost as dangerous as how easy it is for you to fall for people who aren’t a good match for you. Stop getting into one-sided relationships with manipulative people and assholes. You deserve so much more.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

You are aware that you don’t need a relationship to feel complete — but whenever someone new comes along, you immediately start looking for red flags. And the second you find one or they say something rude, you remove them from your life. You also have high standards and expect only the best for yourself. At least it saves you from settling for half-assed relationships just for the “title”. 

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

You’re still hung up on someone else, and that focus is blinding you from seeing all the other wonderful people out there. You need to let go of the past and make room for the future. If you don’t, you’ll be stuck waiting around for someone who will never come. 

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

You aren’t really sure what you want in a relationship. So instead of finding a relationship, you play it safe by getting enough attention to keep you satisfied but still get your “me” time. If you want a relationship, take a step back and evaluate your priorities. 

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

You want the real deal and you are having a very hard time finding someone who wants the same. It’s tough nowadays. Everywhere you look you find people who want “something casual.” Don’t waste your time on dating apps — get out there and talk to people when you’re out with your friends.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

You are 100% your genuine self and you show people your true colors. There’s no need to hide parts of you or lie about yourself to impress someone. Because of your in-your-face self-confidence, you may scare timid people away. You need someone who loves your strong and fierce personality. Those people are out there — you just have to roam the jungle for a bit.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

You are a loving, compassionate, empathetic, and genuine person. You’re too kind — to a fault — because people may abuse that awesome feature of you. Stand up for yourself and don’t sacrifice your kindness. Raise your standards like an Aries, and be in-your-face about it like a Leo.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

You’re very shy. That means that people may not get to see how charming you are since it takes them a long time to truly get to know you. People may not take your coy flirting as a signal because they may get the impression that you’re uninterested or playing hard to get. Make your feelings a little more obvious by breaking out of your comfort zone a tiny bit. 

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

You’re still trying to determine if you even want a relationship. You enjoy your single status and would almost rather keep it than risk going through a bullshit heartbreak. You notice how unhappy some of your taken friends are and just can’t be bothered. However, you still crave those moments of companionship. Be more open to the possibility of dating — see where it goes and if that person is right for you. 

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

You aren’t patient and demand a lot real quick. Traditionally, a Sagittarius is a very needy person — which sometimes can mean that they expect too much from the other person in a relationship. Remember to take things slow and really make an effort to evaluate your expectations — they may be unreasonable at times.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

You hate expressing your feelings and showing your vulnerability. Because Capricorns are also practical, you always analyze every potential suitor and that makes you still single. You listen to the logical side of your brain rather than your passionate heart. You’d love to find love, but you’re too busy thinking of everything they need to be rather than who they actually are. Instead, enjoy the process of falling in love. Be willing to go into things with a clear mind, and allow yourself to be vulnerable at times — you are not a robot.

It’s okay to be single and enjoy it. And it’s also okay to have mini faults that might steer people away. We all have our preferences and quirks. The important thing is to reflect on why you may not be able to maintain successful relationships and make minor changes in hopes it’ll make a difference. And there’s no shame in that either!
