6 Delicious Instant Pot Recipes Even Cooking Newbies Will Love

Although I was skeptical about the Instant Pot being just another useless kitchen appliance cluttering my counter, I discovered its usefulness within the first week of owning it. In fact, my Instant Pot has become a life-saver. It provides quick, easy dinners, and I’m always looking for more ways to use it. Whether you’re an Instant Pot pro or just getting started, you should really check out these 6 recipes.

30-Minute Shrimp Risotto

You can achieve the wonderful taste of a traditional slow-cooked risotto without ever stirring with this recipe from Food Network. In fact, your Instant Pot does all the work, but you get all the credit. So sit back and let the best kitchen appliance ever make the magic happen on this one!

Instant Loaded Baked Potato Salad

That’s right, even your traditional favorites like potato salad can come together easily with this must-have countertop appliance. What makes this recipe especially great is the fact that you’re left with very few dishes to wash once it’s all together. Instant Pot Butter Chicken

Butter chicken is many people’s favorite Indian take-out dish. With the help of your Instant Pot, though, you can easily make this dish at home faster than it would take for someone to deliver. This recipe packs in the flavor and will easily become a weekly staple for you. For the full recipe, head to Delish.

5-Ingredient Mac & Cheese

This extra creamy macaroni and cheese recipe from Food Network comes together in under 10 minutes! Don’t let that fool you, though, because this dish is the real deal in terms of deliciousness. If you end up with leftovers, have no fear because it all reheats well in the microwave, too.

Instant Chicken Noodle Soup

When the weather outside is frightful, I highly recommend this lovely soup recipe from Kristine’s Kitchen. While the recipe is easy to follow and cooks up quickly, it also includes all the healthy components of chicken noodle soup, like fresh vegetables. The best part? Kristine includes directions on how to make it with frozen or thawed chicken breasts, which means this recipe is easy all year round.

Instant Pot Oreo Cheesecake

The only thing I love more than Instant Pot dinner recipes is the many many delicious dessert recipes, such as this one for Oreo Cheesecake. Thanks to the Instant Pot’s size, you’ll end up with cute little slices that won’t make you feel guilty when you inevitably eat a second serving. And if for some strange reason you’re not a fan of Oreos, there’s also a great recipe for basic cheesecake!

The best part about the Instant Pot is definitely the easy cleanup. In fact, if you buy multiple inserts for your pot, you can just stick them in the dishwasher after dinner and let another wonderful appliance take care of that step, too. And if these recipes excite you, then consider looking for some Instant Pot cookbooks to help you really get going with this exciting must-have appliance.

  1. These recipes all look really good…especially the oreo cheescake! I’ve never used Instant Pot before, but after seeing these delicious recipes, I definitely want to look into it.

  2. Great recipe Dariya. This was my first time making chicken noodle soup in my IP. It was such an easy recipe to follow. I did end up adding a tablespoon of Better than Bouillon (chicken flavored) and it was a smash hit!
