Spice Up Your Fall With Starbucks’ New Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

Pumpkin lovers everywhere, rejoice! This fall season, Starbucks added a new pumpkin-flavored drink to its menu.

The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew was released on August 27th, is available at all Starbucks locations, and will not disappoint your taste buds (or your wallet). The price may vary based on location, and the drink tops off at just 250 calories for a Grande.

Since everyone was raving about the new drink on Twitter), I thought that I should give the festive fall brew a try. I honestly expected it to be a dull, overly sweet pumpkin flavor and have an extremely strong coffee taste. I was basically expecting it to be a sugary version of a Pumpkin Spice Latté.

As a cold brew lover who frequently drinks Starbucks’ Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew with 8 pumps of Caramel and loves everything pumpkin, I found that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew did not disappoint!

The flavors of the drink tasted like a liquid form of pumpkin pie. The cream tastes like that first bite of pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Also, if you close your eyes, you probably couldn’t tell the difference between pumpkin pie and Starbucks pumpkin brew. The way the pumpkin cream melts into the cold brew is a fantastic touch to the drink. When the cream melts into the coffee, the drink turns into a delicious coffee version of pumpkin bread. Needless to say, the drink went far past my expectations of syrupy, pumpkin-flavored coffee, and I was extremely happy with my purchase The only downside is that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is not as aesthetically pleasing as the advertisements show.

Overall, I would highly recommend that you try the Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew! Starbucks really made pumpkin-lovers (and non-lovers) proud with this flavorful fall drink. It encapsulates coffee, pumpkin, and everything fall-related in one delicious beverage. Pumpkin Cream Brew will definitely send your taste buds off to the pumpkin patch this fall, so be sure to check it out!
