Which Fall Scented Candles Are Back At Bath & Body Works This Season

Good news fellow candle lovers, Bath & Body Works has already started selling their fall scents!

For whatever reason, this year it feels like our favourite guilty pleasure store has released their fall scented collection a little earlier than usual, but no one’s complaining. Well, unless you’re desperately trying to shrink the size of your home collection and save money like me.

It’s no secret that Bath & Body Works is a staple in fall candle aesthetic because they literally sell the best scents and have a lot of them. They know exactly the kind of scents we love for all occasions from apple and pumpkin to remind us of Thanksgiving dinner, caramel to remind us of sweet treats, Mahogany Teakwood and Flannel that smells like hot boys on the chilly nights, and Leaves and Sweater Weather that smells identical to outside. They just know how to get us feeling cozy.

But sadly, not all of our favourite scents returned this year. As we know, Bath & Body Works re-brands scents every few years unless they are wildly popular. That means some scents aren’t released for a year or two and make a comeback under a new name (and sometimes the same name) later.

So which scents are already back on Bath & Body Works shelves? I have complied the ultimate list to keep you in the know!

  • Sweater Weather
  • Leaves
  • Autumn
  • Marshmallow Fireside
  • Flannel
  • Vanilla Birch
  • Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla
  • Maple Cinnamon Pancakes
  • Pumpkin Cupcake
  • Apple Cinnamon Cider
  • Salted Caramel
  • Bergamont Waters
  • Mahogany Teakwood

Luckily there are plenty of re-branded ones making a return under slightly new names.

  • Warm Apple Pie
  • The Perfect Autumn
  • Hot Cocoa & Cream
  • Caramel Pumpkin Swirl
  • Eucalyptus Rain
  • Caramel Swirl

And of course, we can’t forget to include the new scents we’ll sure to be obsessed with.

  • Pumpkin Apple
  • Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
  • Frozen Lake
  • Blueberry Maple Pancakes
  • Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow
  • Peach Cobbler

Please note other scents vary depending on location and country purchasing.

If your debating on trying any new scents I would simply recommend the following scents and for these specific reasons:

Flannel – I like to call this a “mandle” – a candle that smells like a man. It’s the perfect scent to make you feel less alone on damp, rainy nights.

Crisp Morning Air – Another mandle, need I say more?

Pumpkin Cupcake – It’s sweet and oddly smells like both products advertised all in one- it’s the perfect blend of sweet and warmth. It also comes in a car scent, which I would also recommend because of how long it lasts. I love it.

Warm Apple Pie – It smells like apple pie, who wouldn’t want to smell freshly baked apple pie all the time? Sadly, it will leave you craving pies, but it’s totally worth it to help you feel like fall.

Maple Cinnamon Pancakes – This scent always gets re-branded, but to sum it up, it smells like Cinnabon (you know, the sweet scent you smell while walking through a mall) or like a doughnut. Just do yourself a favor and get it.

Even if you aren’t a huge fan of the scents offered this year, they offer a lot of adorably festive decorative designs on the packaging of each candle. Some have a little bit of plaid accents while others are a beautiful modern marble. So you could always buy a few just to have as decorations in your home to match a theme.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I have a problematic obsession with these fall candles, and I will not be sorry for it. Instead, I’ll just choke you out with the strongest smelling candles known to man (aka Mahogany Teakwood – High Intensity) and regret nothing in the process.

So good luck and try to keep your shopping bags light, and don’t forget to check out the hand soaps while you’re at it.
