7 Refreshing Tips If You’re Constantly Battling Fatigue

Constantly feeling fatigued isn’t fun. People may assume that you’re lazy and unproductive, when really you’re just tired. Also, you may not appear as valuable as someone who can churn out 15 straight hours of work. So, how do you combat that constant fatigue and gain your life back?

Here are a few simple tricks I’ve discovered which may help you combat fatigue:

1. Drink more water.

This may sound obvious, but dehydration is a primary cause of fatigue during the day. When you feel exhausted, start by drinking more water. To make drinking water more enjoyable and convenient, consider buying an aesthetically-pleasing, leak-proof bottle. Keep your water bottle somewhere easily accessible, and bring it everywhere you go.

2. Don’t skip your daily vitamin supplements.

Your body needs a variety of vitamins to maintain good health and energy levels. If your meals lack the full complement of micronutrients, try adding a daily multivitamin. Furthermore, your primary care doctor may help you identify specific vitamin deficiencies, like iron or B12. Taking supplements can boost these deficiencies and help your body work at full steam.

3. Do short, easy exercises.

You don’t have to be a runner or gym rat. If you’re not an exercise junkie, 15 minutes of walking a day is a good start to getting active.

4. Drink apple cider vinegar water.

Apple Cider Vinegar has many health benefits, including controlling blood sugar levels. However, because of its acidity, it must be diluted with water. You can also add it to soups and salads to use as a flavor enhancer.

5. Eat nourishing foods.

Eating a well-balanced diet is key. Depending on your specific dietary needs and restrictions, this may limit what you can eat. For example, many consider unprocessed and organic foods healthier. Chemicals, artificial flavorings, and preservatives can make you more sluggish because your body can’t properly process them into energy.

6. Maintain a regular sleep schedule.

Try to maintain an average of 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Going to sleep and waking up at the same time helps keep your body’s internal clock stable. Ideally, you should avoid naps over 20 minutes, as they can throw off your circadian rhythm.

But have you ever wondered how to ensure your sleeping schedule? Well, there are many influencing factors, and one of those things is your bedding. A high-quality mattress, a firm pillow, good sheet, and blanket will help you get the best sleep. Just refer to ASleepyWolf.com for more options.

7. Simplify your daily routine.

Having a cluttered and disorganized routine can cause mental and physical fatigue. Triage your to-do list to simplify your daily routine.  This will avoid overthinking and anxiety.

If you’ve tried all of the above and you still feel fatigued, there may be an underlying cause. If you feel that to be the case, it is recommended that you seek advice from a medical professional. However, trying these tips may be the key to helping you feel more energized and productive.
