Stars and movie lovers alike got up extra early this morning to tune into the news as nominations for the 2019 Academy Awards were announced. The nominations for the 91st award show were far from surprising and the competition for each category will be surprisingly tough.

Each category has a list with either strong actors and actresses who all made powerful performances, films that equally had strong and unique graphics and costumes, and overall strong storylines that made us fall in love.
