9 Songs To Listen To If You Need A Burst Of Inspiration

Music has always been a massive inspiration in my life. When I was growing up, my parents exposed me to all different types of music.

In fact, my favorite music genres are country and Christian gospel. Christian rock music helps inspire and motivate me throughout the day and also helps me with the bad days I have from time to time.

Music is a beautifully poetic way to find inspiration, especially when you are having a hard time doing what you want to in life.  When I have those days when I feel like the world is kicking my ass, I go on Spotify and go through my playlist of motivational songs. These songs help me through the most challenging days of my life, and I hope they help you, too.

1. “Walk by Faith” – Jeremy Camp

“Walk by Faith” is a heartfelt song with a beautiful message. It reminds me that Jesus will always guide me on the right path, so I should always trust in Him.

2. “Sorry Not Sorry” – Demi Lovato

This song will remind anyone that they’re perfect just the way they are, and they don’t need to change their personality for anyone else.

3. “Scars to Your Beautiful” – Alessia Cara

“Scars to Your Beautiful” hits home for me because I have many scars from surgeries.  I love the beautiful message of “Scars to Your Beautiful”: Your scars do make you attractive.

4. “This Could Be the Year” – Ryan Star

This song is perfect to listen to if you want to start a new year on a positive note. Who wouldn’t want to kick off a new year with some positivity? After all, this could be your year to inspire others.

5. “Mean” – Taylor Swift

This song is perfect if you need inspiration after someone’s told you that you can’t do something. Once you start to play this song, you’ll seem to remember that “Someday, you’ll be living in the big city,” and the people who doubt you are just… mean.

6. “Stronger” – Kelly Clarkson

I love this song. It suits me to a T, and when you’re feeling weak and need some strength, it will suit you, too. I love the message that “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger;” it holds a lot of truth.

7. “I’m Still Good” – Hannah Montana

This song reminds me of middle school. I always had this song on repeat to remind myself that I could take on anything, even on my toughest days — and you should put it on your playlist, too.

8. “Eye of the Tiger” – Survivor

Where could anyone go wrong with this classic? I love listening to this song when something big is about to happen or even just when I need to get pumped up for the week.

9. “Angels All Around Us” – David Muyon

This song touches my heart because it reminds me of all the people that have inspired me in my journey as a writer. If you’re looking for a song that will remind you of all of the supportive people in your life, you should check this one out.

These songs hold a special place in my heart not only because they have helped me through every obstacle I faced in my life, but also because they remind me of the places I’ve gone to. Most importantly, these songs remind me what I’ve learned from those times in my life when I felt like reaching the stars was miles away.
