I’ve struggled with thinning hair and hair loss from the time I was 17 years old. I was so used to having full, thick hair that when I’d turn my head or run my fingers through my hair and see clumps fall out effortlessly, I would panic. Luckily, the hair loss has ended, but, like so many other women, I’m stuck with thin hair.
In an endless effort to try to re-grow my hair or thicken it, I’ve been fortunate enough to have tried some amazing products that have been successful for me. One product in particular has been the most successful for kick-starting hair growth.
Nature’s Bounty: Extra Strength Hair, Skin & Nails pills.
Mandy Knights, a hairdresser extraordinaire/saint, recommended I use this product. I’ve had many conversations with her about hair loss and thinning, and she urged me to try this product because it has all the ingredients you need to jump-start hair growth.
One of the biggest nutrients that helps with hair growth is Biotin, which helps maintain healthy hair. These pills have plenty of it. They also contain other vital nutrients our bodies need to see improvement in our overall health too, all while strengthening nails and improving skin. Other nutrients the pills include are B Vitamins and Vitamins E, C and A.
How Does It Work?
By taking 2 pills a day, you encourage your hair follicles to open, which allows your hair to start growing. Although you don’t have to take two pills per day, it is recommended, so that you can see results more quickly.
When Do You See Results?
When I first started taking Nature’s Bounty pills more than two years ago, I took two per day. I didn’t start seeing baby hairs (you know, the annoying crazy ones that are too short to do anything with) until 3 months in. By the 6th month, however, my hair had reached a length where I could put it in a ponytail, and it blended with the rest of my hair.
Does That Mean All Results Are The Same?
Absolutely not, unfortunately. It all depends on a person’s metabolism, general health and lifestyle, so it is difficult to determine when you will see the full benefits.
What Happens If You Take One Pill A Day?
If you only take one pill a day, it just means you will see results much slower than if you were to take two pills. Because I’ve been taking them for so long, I’m only down to one pill per day. I still see progress, but it’s not as quick.
When Should You Take The Pills?
It’s recommended to take one pill with breakfast and one with dinner so you get the nutrients in your system for longer. You should take these pills with a meal because they may upset your stomach. (They upset mine!)
Is Nature’s Bounty Only Sold In a Swallowable Pill Form?
Nope! They also have it in a gummy form, for those who can’t swallow pills or prefer to eat the vitamins in another form. I have not tried the gummies, so I don’t know if there is much of a difference between the pills and the gummies.
Does It Make Your Body Hair Grow Too?
This is a very common question, and there’s no shame in asking. I personally did not find that my body hair grew, but it may for others. Again, it’s an individual reaction.
All in all, Nature’s Bounty pills are a miracle product that I have found successful for the past two years. Not only has my hair growth improved drastically, but it has stayed healthy, too. The other benefits from the pills are an added bonus because they do help with your skin and nails, too. I could not be more happy with my results, and I encourage every person who is struggling with hair loss or thinning hair to try these products. It may take a few months for you to really see a difference, but it’ll be worth the wait.
