Your bag can be your best friend if you really want it to be. Think about it! Wherever you go, you have it with you. When you need something, chances are it’s in there. But, what should you always have in it? What is a well-packed purse like? Keep on reading because we are here to tell you the essentials you should have in your bag all the time.
- Hand Sanitizer
If you are out and about, you’re going to be touching about 100 other people or things that day. The grocery cart your pushing? It’s probably dirty, and who knows who used it before you. Hand sanitizer will be a good friend if you put it in your purse!
- Tide to go
Your morning coffee spills on your white shirt.. again. Sucks, right? If you carry a stain eraser pen, you won’t have to go through the entire day with a stain on your shirt.
- A notebook and pen
Just because you never know when you want to add something to your grocery list. Also, you can write down things you don’t want to forget, like running an errand after work. Or, maybe you want to jot down a blog idea, or doodle.
- Healthy snacks
I am pro-snacks, and healthy snacks are a bonus! Always carry a snack with you so you don’t pig out at McDonald’s.
- Mints
Bad breath is a turn-off. You never know when you’re going to run into someone that you’re crushing on, or even your boss or professor.
- Kleenex
You never know when you may sneeze, get a running nose, or spill something. These are handy to keep close by because a tissue can help clean up any mess.
- Advil
A girl in pain is a girl you don’t want to be around. I won’t leave the house without carrying Advil. I would hate to be out and have to buy more or come home to take Advil because of a headache.
- Lipstick
Did you think I was going to leave this out? Always carry lipstick! You never know when your lips may need a bit of color to help you go from casual to fancy.
- Lip balm
Keep your lips kissable by keeping some balm’ close to you. There’s nothing better than soft lips.
- Tampons
Save yourself from an embarrassing moment, because YOU JUST NEVER KNOW. And even if it isn’t close to that time of the month for you, you could save a friend who needs one in a pinch.
You don’t need to carry around a big purse to be able to fit these in it. I just carry around a simple crossbody bag. You just never know when you’ll need these items, so it’s always great to have them on hand.
