The Rodgers Family Drama Has Finally Been Revealed

The famous feud between NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his brother Jordan, famous for falling in love and having giant hair, is unfortunately something we all have to care about again. Their family drama was put on blast last year during many painful montages during Jojo’s season of The Bachelorette, where Jordan revealed the rift between the Rodgers and the more famous one.

In a shocking twist the father has spoken out and revealed why the two don’t get along – and it feels like in middle school when your best friend started wearing make-up and waxing her eyebrows before you did, and then stopped hanging out with you on the basis of being “mature.”

Mr. Rodgers (wow, what a name) confirmed the Bleacher Report’s assertion that the family hasn’t spoken to the Packers’ Quarterback since 2014. He told The New York Times,

“Fame can change things.”

See Mr. Rodgers here in a totally unscripted moment on The Bachelorette, explaining the family feud to Jojo:

He further states in the interview, “Airing public laundry is not what I would have chosen, but it’s good to have it all come out.”

Reports from a while ago say Rodger’s equally famous girlfriend Olivia Munn has a super chatty friend, who revealed, “[They] have always been competitive, and they’re always trying to one-up each other. It’s been that way since they were kids. They got older, and the stakes got higher.”

The timing couldn’t be more ironic since the Green Bay Packers had one hell of a game this past Sunday, Rodgers leading to a 34-31 win, and they are preparing to take on the Atlanta Falcons this weekend on the road to the Super Bowl. Sources report that he’s staying out of the drama to do him and focus on the game.

All of this seems fishy. Jordan and his fiancée have been surprisingly distant from the spotlight recently and could be in need of some attention. Do they actually think people care about their family drama? Not really, but it is interesting to hear the news months after his stint on the Bachelorette has ended, and ironically while his brother is on his way to a Superbowl championship.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see until after the Packers season is over, whether it be this Sunday when they play Atlanta or on February 5th in Texas at the final.
