The OG Crew: Where Your Favorite ‘All That’ Stars Are Now

All That was basically SNL when we were too young to watch SNL. It was all pretty ridiculous but we loved every minute of it. While we know Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon achieved a lot of fame after the series ended, we’ve lost track of many of the comedy kids. The cast reunion will be aired this weekend (April 16th,) but in the meantime, here’s what happened to some of our favorite regulars on the show:

Jack De Sena – Randy Quench, Volunteer Fireman/Slimon Bowel

Now

After All That, Jack did some voice work in the film, The Wild and in the series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. He also did the web series, Dorm Life and had guest star spots in Melissa & Joey, King of the Hill, and Sam & Cat. Most recently, he is starring 100 Things To Do Before High School for Nickelodeon. Although not a “major star,” Jack seems to be doing alright!

Lisa Foiles – Herhiney/Kelly Osbourn

Then

Now

Lisa went on to do a few small projects and did some work in singing and song writing. These days, she’s a video game journalist. Up until a couple of years ago, she had a regular position with an online magazine The Escapist hosting a series The Top 5 With Lisa Foiles. She also ran her own gaming website Save Point which seems to have been shut down. Lisa writes columns about gaming and appears in videos for game review sites from time to time. The best place to find Lisa is on her personal YouTube channel where she has a vlog.

Danny Tamberelli – Jack Campbell, Fat Cop/Hairy Spice

Then

Now

Danny is nostalgia in human form for 90’s kids. With roles in The Mighty Ducks, The Magic School Bus, and The Adventures of Pete & Pete, he was childhood comedy gold. After All That, he had a recurring role in the animated series Fillmore! and appeared in a few short films. His biggest project in recent years was likely doing voice work for the video game Grand Theft Auto V in 2013. Outside of acting, he is a bassist and vocalist for the rock band Jounce and a member of a sketch comedy group Man Boobs Comedy. Danny made a guest appearance in November on The Hopefully Chris Pratt & Shane Hartline Show doing sketch and improv comedy for the stage. He also has appeared on and hosted various podcasts.

Josh Server – Walter The Ear Boy/Detective Dan

Then

Now

Josh was the longest running cast-member of the youth. He went on to do a few guest appearances on Nickelodeon shows but for the most part, has been pretty inactive. However, according to his Twitter, is still actively pursuing his career. He seemed to have star quality back in his youth and hopefully he’ll catch another big break soon enough! (Admittedly, he was my favorite.)

Kenan Thompson – Mark Cant, Superdude/Miss Piddlin

Then

Now

Kenan got to be part of the best spin-offs from All That including the film Good Burger and series Kenan & Kel. His skill with sketch and improv comedy is clear so it’s no surprise that he made his way to Saturday Night Live. Kenan has been on the show since 2003 and has done countless other TV series and films over the years including; Fat Albert, Snakes on a Plane, and The Smurfs. He also got married in 2011 and has a daughter who is almost 2.

Kel Mitchell – Ed/Pizza Face

Then

Now

Kel is well-known for voicing T-Bone in Clifford The Big Red Dog. He has also done theatre, writing, directing, and rap music over the years. As a spokesperson for The Boys & Girls Club, Young Visionaries, and several other organizations, he gives speeches at schools to motivate youth. He also holds dance competitions with his wife of 4 years who is a designer and Christian rap singer. Kel also has 2 children from a previous marriage.

Lori Beth Denberg – Connie Muldoon/Mrs. Hushbaum

Then

Now

Lori Beth’s best known project after All That would be her small role in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. She has mostly stayed out of spotlight and stated in a 2011 interview that she was no longer acting. She did however appear as herself in 2012 in the popular series Workaholics and has a completed project yet to be released.

Giovonnie Samuels – Connect The Zits Girl/Stacey Chit

Then

Now

Giovonnie has found success in the industry with credits including; Bring It On: All Or Nothing, Freedom Writers, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Raising Hope. She continues to act in small projects but keeps her personal life very private.

Shane Lyons – Bucketman/Sacko

Then

Now

Shane on right

The last time we saw Shane was in a guest spot on Wizards of Waverly Place in 2008. It turns out, he went on to become a successful chef. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and was a contestant on The Next Food Network Star in 2008. He is now an Executive Chef/Partner of Distilled NY, a restaurant.

All That represented a major part of every comedy-lover’s childhood and it’s shame not many of the stars hit it big in the industry. But it’s great to see that many of them have found success in careers of their choice and we’ll forever remember the random hilarity they brought to our lives. Don’t miss the 22 year reunion, Saturday April 16th on The Splat.
