TV’s Heartthrob Throwbacks

Some people are lucky enough to have real life, right in front of them, normal human heartthrobs. Then there are some people who aren’t as lucky; they have on screen heartthrobs. Don’t get me wrong I think this is the way to go sometimes. You can talk about them how you want, when you want, to who you want, as much as you want all out in general public and it’s okay. You won’t be labeled as creepy like if you were to talk about the cutie in your psych class that way. The early 2000s have had some of the greatest heartthrobs of our generation and I’m going to give you the top 10.

10. Taylor Kitsch as Tim Riggins (Friday Night Lights)

A troubled football player who copes with life through casual sexual encounters and heavy drinking, he is THE womanizer. But what girl didn’t want to be Miss Lyla Garrity who made him settle down and fall in love.

9. Stephen Colletti (Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County)

Doesn’t his name just say it all? You can’t help but drool over him just as much as Kristin and LC did.

8.Matt Lanter as Liam Court (90210)

He’s troubled and you just want to fix him. But at the same time he is the kind of guy you’d call the “knight in shining armor”.

7. Ashton Kutcher as Kelso (That 70s Show)

Okay, so he was kind of an idiot (or maybe a huge idiot) but you couldn’t help but love him. I mean it’s Ashton Kutcher, he could be any character and you’d love him.

6. Jared Padalecki as Dean Forester (Gilmore Girls)

If you watched the show to the very end you can’t help but admire how selfless he was to let Rory go. Aside from that, the hair flow was always something to swoon over.

5. James Lafferty as Nathan Scott (One Tree Hill)

Everyone loves a carefree, rebellious guy, but what if that rebel turns good? Then you have the best of both worlds.

4. Adrian Grenier as Vincent Chase (Entourage)

Some say he is the definition of a player, and who doesn’t love that? You secretly can’t help but want him to be the character you want to settle down.

3. Adam Brody as Seth Cohen (The OC)

This actor/character combo was a match made in heaven. There is always the one kind of geeky boy who is just so damn adorable at the same time, and he was that guy.

2. Ed Westwick as Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl)

Good looks, excellent taste in clothes (and Harry Winston) and an empire of his own? What’s not to like about this social climbing badass? Plus if you connected with him like I did, you know he has a soft side.

1. Justin Bobby (The Hills)

The ultimate bad boy of the early 2000s, hands down. From long hair to short hair, facial hair to no facial hair, he was perfect with any look (and he was a rebel).

Happy Throwback Thursday everyone!
