I don’t know about you, but I am ALWAYS eating. I’m not unhealthily coping or anything, I’m not in college anymore haha. But, I love food! I mean, who doesn’t?
From college to now, I’ve had the joy of spending time in the grocery store, exploring down the aisles for something delicious to munch on. As you can guess, my college diet was quite different from my current diet. But I do still take some of my college food list and throw it into my now list. I’ve really cut down on the way I eat and have even noticed that I just can’t eat the same way as I used to! That kind of freaks me out saying that and I’m sure some of you are in the same boat. That’s why I’ve created a list of both healthy and some cheat snacks that you can maybe incorporate in your day.
So with much to do, let’s take a dive into this shall we?
Now that I’ve created a more specific grocery list, I think it’s pretty affordable if you’re going to the right places to shop, and friends, take advantage of coupons! I’m tellin’ ya every penny counts!Keep this in mind when headed to the store.
The Do’s and Don’ts of Grocery Shopping:
- Remember you are buying food to eat, not food to spoil. A lot of the times, I noticed that I had an abnormal amount of food and I never ate it, scrambling around to eat as much as I could.
- Don’t buy food just because it looks good. Check into your mind and body, and remind yourself to be healthy.
- Bring your own bags to shop with. Because they don’t break, they are reusable and they don’t go to waste.
- Don’t forget to have fun and buy something sweet, or one cheat item. You deserve it!!

I’m a pretty quick shopper in general so this list makes my grocery story visits so much shorter than I’d like because I could spend the whole day there. But what I do spend in these quick trips is less than $70 on all of these items! WOWZA!
