Okay, let’s be real for a moment. We all know everyone has their own awkward sexual moments and love hearing about everyone else’s when you and your best friends get together. But today, I’m going to talk about my shocking relationship moment, so tune in.
Within relationships there are always awkward milestones you overcome, some are on purpose, others may not be. But that’s the fun part, the not knowing. For myself, I had no idea what was coming my way but then it happened, my eyes went large and my mind went in circles trying to decide what to do. What can I do? What should I do? Did that just really happen? Is this real? Then the most intense thought rolls around… OMG, what the f**k just happened.
Today, this moment is something we laugh and joke about but that one moment was the scariest of my dating life. While having random morning sex, my boyfriend at the time decided to try something new without passing the idea along to me. So before I knew it, I wasn’t having sex anymore, I was having my first anal experience… by accident.
As you can image, this would have been quite the awkward moment and quite the interesting conversation. But at the time, I had no idea what to think, do, or say. The only thing I could think of doing was to suddenly move and hoping he didn’t notice. Knowing my luck… that wasn’t the case. Instead of it being avoided and never talked about… it was quite obvious and my boyfriend- who still didn’t know what he did, asked one little but dumb question: “did you get your period?” I casually went along with it and just stated how bad I had felt. Then after an awkward phone call with my sister, we decided that it was better to tell the guy. The best part was most definitely his facial expression. It was nothing but “holy f**k, I’m such an idiot” and after I got the 375th apology I decided to laugh and never stop laughing.
To this day, this man feels so bad and I don’t think he’ll ever stop apologizing but it is still a funny moment, and to this day is my most awkward sexual moment. Just to clarify… This happens to many people. It isn’t normal, but it happens. The best thing to do when something like this happens is to have a conversation and laugh your butt off. It has sure made me feel better and will help you too.
