Guys some serious shit is happening, and you all need to know about it. What #relationshipgoals you thought @jayalvarrez & @alexisren were, think again, because it’s starting to look like they broke up. Yes, you heard me right. They. Broke. Up. So I guess that means we can all give up on love now, because there is literally no f*cking hope anymore now that they broke up.
However, a few months ago users started to notice some changes in the dynamic of their Instagram pages. Fans started to notice that both accounts were deleting photos of their chronicled relationship, and that all the love struck, heart-eyed captions that accompanied the snaps that made the cut were edited out. Alexis and Jay unfollowed each other on Twitter, and then they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
A few months ago fans started noticing changes in their relationship and their social media profiles on Twitter and on Instagram, and that some photos and lovey-dovey captions have been deleted from their feeds entirely. They also haven’t been traveling together in months.
Aside from the advertising for Express that got posted to both Jay’s and Alexis’s accounts a few weeks ago, the last picture of them together that’s on Alexis’s Instagram is from 49 weeks ago. That’s from 2015, almost an entire year ago, mind you. The photo is of them eating an epic ass meal in the f*cking water, because that’s definitely something you do everyday.
Jay, meanwhile, has a post featuring Alexis going back to 17 weeks ago. They’re kissing for the cameras at a bridal event in Barcelona.
Naturally scrolling through both Instagrams, there is literally no sign of their relationship on either end. Hopping on over to the Twitter world, there is some serious shade being thrown by the two of them, and I really don’t think I was fully prepared for this.

Though no official statement has been made by either one of them, it’s safe to say fans are freaking the f*ck out. People are pretty upset – their fairytale love story, their “perfect relationship”, has crashed and burned, leaving a lot of people wondering if there is any hope for love in this generation anymore.
I’m definitely going to be a little f*cked up if their relationship is actually over. And I’m really glad Jay is all calm, cooled, and collected while drinking his little cappuccino, as everyone else is losing their shit.Â
If you take into account all the shade-throwing tweets, and the photo cuts on Instagram, the unfollowing spree, the traveling solo, and so on, it’s starting to look more like our #relationshipgoals couple split. This may actually hurt more than Justin and Britney’s break up, and I’m still struggling to get over that.
Say arrivederci to your favorite Instagram couple, their love life, and now yours. We all know that if they can’t make it in this f*cked up world, there’s no hope for us.
