What You Need To Remember When Your Hardships Are All You Can Think About

As human beings, we tend to view struggling as one of the many negative aspects of life. Very few people actually think of struggling as a way to grow, and change the perspectives that we were predisposed to during our childhood.
Did it ever cross your mind that every time you feel like your life is coming to an end, it’s only the beginning?

Everyone reaches a point in their lives where they desire nothing more but change and happiness, yet they manage to do absolutely nothing about it. But why does it have to be that way? Why can’t we wake up and view our lives with a completely different mindset, one that sets us on track for absolute happiness?

Well… I’ll tell you the answer for that: it’s because most of us don’t accept the struggle. We don’t interpret the fact that struggle is the building block needed to lead a happy and developed life.

We all struggle. When we’re pushed into a corner in life, how do we react? Struggling can be one of the most powerful motivating factors. However, it can also go the other way around and drag you into misery and sadness. Of course, this all depends on what side of the coin you choose to look at.

Every day, you have to be working for something better, whether it’s school, university, fitness, work, or even personal beliefs. You have to be willing to sacrifice everyday to get what you want, I will tell you this though…it’s all worth it.

I could go on and on about how I’ve struggled in my life, but this isn’t a pity party. Struggling has humbled me. It’s the main reason that made me look myself in the mirror when I didn’t want to see the person staring back. That girl in the mirror was the only one who saw right through the bullshit and cut right to the truth. It’s made me work harder than I’ve ever worked in my life although I thought I worked very hard in the past. I embrace struggle now because I know it will lead to something greater and more importantly, it’s the road to happiness.

When you feel like life is getting pretty hard, and you’re not capable of getting through this any longer, think of how all this will lead to bright things in your life, that you haven’t even thought of yet. The struggle is the road to happiness.
